2012 marks the 15th anniversary of Hobby-X, and Hobby-X Midrand will be our 32nd show countrywide! And it continues to be a magnificent showcase of materials, equipment, supplies and ideas for an astounding range of creative crafts and hobbies.

With almost 250 exhibition stands to explore in Johannesburg and over 130 stands in Midrand, you're in for a spectacular shopping experience - beads and gems, books, magazines, gardening, pewter, glass art, doll making, power tools, woodworking, puzzles, mosaics, scrapbooking, bear making, metal clays, easels, paints, canvasses, model cars, planes and trains, Meccano, slot cars, bungee swings, cooking, card making and so much more.

Not only are there loads of wonderful new products to buy, but you can try your hand at the Make & Take tables, watch fascinating demos, book a trendy workshop and soak up the inspiration all around you.

Hobby-X Johannesburg 2012 was once again a resounding success, with great feedback from exhibitors and visitors, many saying that Hobby-X is their best show of the year!

The very exciting launch of Hobby-X Midrand at Gallagher Estate in September 2011 went off very well and the general comment from visitors and exhibitors was that the show had a wonderful atmosphere resulting in a great show experience for everyone.

After having hosted 15 successful shows at the Coca-Cola Dome and with the launch of Hobby-X Midrand in 2011, Expo Trends has now organised 31 dynamic Hobby-X exhibitions over the past 15 years in the major centres of South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria and Midrand).
